Lephalale Woman of Inspiration Seminar

I have always wanted to do events management and now I finally found the strength and courage to do so. I’ll be hosting a one-day seminar to celebrate Woman’s month and to launch myself(company) as an event coordinator. I have invited a couple of woman from around Lephalale who are doing it for themselves to come give us a talk on the importance of education, becoming a businessperson and taking care of yourself.

I’m excited to make this happen and to many more events I will be organising.

Who I have become [Self-love]

It has been such a struggle for me to define “self-love”. Being loved by other people was the only appreciation I knew. It was so exhausting because I felt I had to do things according to the “world” and always be on the right side of everyone.

I sing and dance to a new tune now and that is the “MY WAY” tune. I do what makes me happy without judging myself or even worrying about being judged. It took me long but in the end I realised, well it is true, I cant please everyone and I cant be everyone’s favourite person. I appreciate myself and love myself as I am.

I am worthy of the best and I don’t ever want to sell myself short of anything less than that. Yes, I am still working on myself, my dreams and my goals but I really feel I am on the right path. I will keep on working on becoming a better ME.

I have become my own cheerleader and I will never pull myself down.

This is me and I am sticking to it!!!!!!

2015 MET GALA [FASHION]

I might be just a little late but I still want to comment on the fashion at the MET Gala . The theme for the night was “‘China: Through the Looking Glass”. I’d say Rihanna got it right because she wore a gown by a Chinese designer. I hear that dress took TWO whole years and 50,000 hours to make!!!!!!! Anyway…….

Our main guy Trevor Noah looked so dapper I must say..This guy has really made it in life. Hard work will take you places yea.

Mr South Africa [Lephalale’s Very Own]

paballo_moalushi1

Lephalale should be very proud now as we have someone repestenting the town on a very large scale. Huawei Brand Ambassador and Psychology student Paballo Moalushi who hails from Lephalale  is a 2015 Mr South Africa contestant. I don’t know him personal, but because I am from the same town as him I’m definitely rooting for him all the way.

Let’s vote for him by doing this:

In the News [Wrapping up the week]

long_weekend

#TGIF!!! Oh yes it the weekend, what a week I had at work. One of the roughest week ever!! This week was also about self realisation and being true to myself and what I really love(careerwise). It’s true what they say, do you what you love and everything will follow. you can have a fat pay check but if you not really into it you will never be happy until you decide “you know what, I quit”.

Anyway let’s see the headlines for the week:

News Headlines

#RIP John “Shoes” Moshoeu

John-M

South Africa has lost a great soccer legend, former Bafana Bafana John “Shoes” Moshoeu . He passed away this afternoon after a long battle with cancer. Shoes played for Kaizer Chiefs and went overseas to play for the Turkish league from 1997 to 2003. Moshoeu was part of the Bafana squad that won the 1996 African Nations. The former soccer player was capped 73 times for the national team. Moshoeu hung his boots in 2004.

He was 49-years-old when he passed on.

So this afternoon while I was listening to the radio and Psyfo’s new track about the current Xenophobic made it’s round

. It’s quiet a nice song I must say, with so much meaning.

Much respect to the artists who were part of the song- J-Something, Nadia Nakai, Kwesta, DJ Speedsta- to name a few. It’s their contribution to fight this black cloud that’s over us at the moment and it’s very meaningful.

I love the track and would really download if it’s available for download.

Heard on your radio yet?? What do you think of it??

What a sad week in South Africa. Our fellow African brothers and sisters were attacked for merely being non-South Africans. We should stop and think how we would feel if our South Africans are attacked for not coming from the country they live in. This hatred must end we are all Africans and should live together in harmony. #SayNoToXenophobia #AfricanUnite
