2015 MET GALA [FASHION]

I might be just a little late but I still want to comment on the fashion at the MET Gala . The theme for the night was “‘China: Through the Looking Glass”. I’d say Rihanna got it right because she wore a gown by a Chinese designer. I hear that dress took TWO whole years and 50,000 hours to make!!!!!!! Anyway…….

Our main guy Trevor Noah looked so dapper I must say..This guy has really made it in life. Hard work will take you places yea.

Mr South Africa [Lephalale’s Very Own]

paballo_moalushi1

Lephalale should be very proud now as we have someone repestenting the town on a very large scale. Huawei Brand Ambassador and Psychology student Paballo Moalushi who hails from Lephalale  is a 2015 Mr South Africa contestant. I don’t know him personal, but because I am from the same town as him I’m definitely rooting for him all the way.

Let’s vote for him by doing this:

long_weekend

#TGIF!!! Oh yes it the weekend, what a week I had at work. One of the roughest week ever!! This week was also about self realisation and being true to myself and what I really love(careerwise). It’s true what they say, do you what you love and everything will follow. you can have a fat pay check but if you not really into it you will never be happy until you decide “you know what, I quit”.

Anyway let’s see the headlines for the week:

News Headlines

Bodysuit for Bonang's lingerie range

Bonang Matheba who was named the 1st South African brand ambassador for Revlon a few months ago,  announced on Wednesday the launch of her lingerie line. The line called “Bonang for Distraction” will be available at WoolWorths from the 20th of January, just in time for Valentines Day *Lol*.

The Bonang brand keeps getting bigger and better and I really respect her for the hard work she puts into building her brand and empire. Big ups to her.

Musa Sukwene: Idols Season 9 Winner

Idols SA

Idols SA

The Idols  SA Season 9 Finale was such a jam last night, I was so excited yet again to see Sonke on that stage again. The Top 2 Finalists -Musa and Brenden- sang songs from one of their best performance from the whole season. I have to say  I am ecstatic that Musa won the Season 9 of SA Idols. Although, I didn’t vote for him (and I don’t feel bad about it) I felt like he deserved to take the title. I’ve always been a Sonke fan so it was really difficult for me to vote for someone else. Musa has been so consistent throughout the whole season  and he had the best song choices from all the other contestants.

Musa when he auditioned fir Idols 2013

Musa walks away with:

A recording deal

A Ford Fiesta

Cash prizes of over R500 000

Prizes from Yamaha and Samsung

Musa mentioned that he will be sharing his prize with the runner up Brenden Ledwaba, He is such a gentleman I must say.

Musa performing his single “I Can Still Feel It”after being crowned was the cherry on top. It’s a track I would really jam to.
